Edina might be that good. They do have about 5 seniors who played varsity last year and were cut for youth on the varsity.

Blaine has been a middle to below middle of the pack team the past three years. Probably will see the same thing this year.

Blaine took the first period off against Edina. Were down 5-0 after 1. Played edina 2-1 for the last two. Too little to late. Played Burnsville to a 6-5 game, and had the momentum in the third. The game ended with 9 minutes left on the clock in the 3rd, and had come back from 4-1, and 6-3. They dominated Woodbury 5-0 last night (who hasn't). Are they going to be great, remains to be seen. They have potential and are playing in Mtka this weekend. We'll see how they compete.

MHL has a new way of accepting scores this year. I'm sure it will speed up as the season goes on.
