12/28 - Duluth East vs Minnetonka

Post by 21Swagger »

Predictions?

I think East bounces back from an off night and Jake Randolph leads them to a victory over Tonka, 4-3.

If both of the teams play like they have been the past couple days, I think Tonka is on a roll and will pull this one off. Beating the #5 team in the state 6-0 is quite the statement.

I agree Minnetonka is on a roll and the team to stop them would obviously be the #1 team DE but I think Tonka will pull this one out if their D can keep it together.

This will be an awesome game. Maybe even a State Tourney preview?

I'm picking the Skippers here. But it could probably go either way. It's gonna come down to goaltending

It costs $8.95, but the feed is pretty good. I'll be watching this one tonight.

Tonka seems to be firing on all cylinders right now, while East is still sorting out some issues on defense and with injuries. The winner of this game clearly deserves to be #1 in the state, and the loser won't be far behind.

While I'd like to see the Hounds win, I gotta give the edge to Tonka after the Edina game. Should be a great game though, wish I could get down there to see it.

Skippers - 5

East - 3

I like Tonka 6-3. According to Tonka people their best ever team and hot right now. I love the way East moves the puck but the way Tonka pressured Hill D into turnovers I think it's East D that will have to keep it together.

Tonka is playing extremely well right now, no doubt, and they do look better than east. the east D is hurting without repensky but you know its gonna be a helluva game. i do predict east wins 4-2, with an empty net goal, but it all falls on their first line. im expecting trevor olson to lay down some big hits at the start and randolph to dish some apples

Have to go with Tonka here. They look very, very good right now. I think East is only the #1 team with a healthy Repensky and Trevor. Hope its a heck of a game though. Not driving down again for this one so I'll watch the live stream. Thanks for the link karl.

This will have to do. Thought I had a paint thinner image on my hard drive. Guess not.

Hounds 4-3. Think Tonka will be worn down emotionally after a big victory over a huge rival like Edina. Not to mention, DE likely got a "firm talking" from Mr. Randolph after yesterdays near debacle.

Tonka's best team ever? what about the team 2 years ago who was clearly better than every other team even the edina team who upset them in the final's? i have a hard time seeing this team is better than the one from 2 years ago

Do they really use shoot-outs in this tournament? I'm assuming you weren't joking. If so, what a horrible idea.

Im taking Tonka tonight. However, I think once East gets Olson worked back into the lineup and Repensky healthy that they are the better team.

Should be a great game!

Funny!

how does one approach "negativism" on one's favorite team?

:-k

I hope Tonka can stay in the game tonight...

Maybe Tonka will be physically tired. You know, from raising their arms in celebration of all those goals the past two days. Look what it did to Burnsville today.

Tonka by two.

Mark my words, tonight Minnetonka will be blown out by Duluth East. Not expected right? I have my own little formula. Is there any streams of it tonight?

They were a very defensemen dominated team 2 years ago. We'll have to see if there's a team that can stop these forwards.

Tonka 5-2
