I agree that EGF will be tough, many young players from their bantam team who took 2nd in the state tournament last year. But Warroad has a tough young squad this year as well and you can never count out TRF when it comes playoff time. EGF has had some trouble with discipline issues off the ice around the second half in recent years but Scott Oliver was brought in to change that. Maybe this is the year they turn things around and get back to the X

Warroad also made some coaching changes with long time assistant Dennis Fermoyle coming back. He led Warroad to a state title as a co-head coach. Also former UMD player Jay Hardwich took the helms at head coach. Should be interesting to watch Section 8A play out this year.

I certainly think that whoever comes out of Section 8 will have what it takes to win a few games at a very deep Tournament this year.

That would be nice to see. It will be interesting to see if Warroad and Roseau's rookie goalies can hold up this year.
