If this is any indication of how things will go 7AA may have 6 teams in the top 20 when the playoffs roll around. Though, I wonder if Rapids sat anyone after the Hill Murray scrimmage.

These scrimmages mean nothing. Wait till next week when the season really starts. These scrimmages are there for the coaches to evaluate their players and some players who are bubble players. Enjoy the scrimmages since we are now moving to the season. Argue who is going to win sections later...

These games are used for player evaluation more than anything else. These are less important (meaning) games than NFL preseason games. Have fun watching the kids play and compete again.
Just a note, my post was not to slam anyone. More that we should not be trying to figure out who is winning state by the first week scrimmages. Give game summaries and player summaries. Win or lose, it does not matter.
Zamman, you are imagining how serious some of us are taking the scrimmages. Just talking about scores doesn't mean we give this a lot of weight. Some of us are just happy to be talking hockey again after waiting for 8+ months. Don't be hating because Forest Lake has a better shot at state than the Stars.
Bears playing well with wahlen and delaney. Good depth but surprised by the stars who without Mork, Bianchi and Haeg (sitting out of tryouts) played very well and many will be surprised with the depth at the forward position this year. D were alright, goalies very good.

Who scored for the Bears?
I couldn't tell you, I'm fairly positive it was their 2nd or 3rd line players
