Rosemount at EAGAN Saturday night showdown

The young guns from Rosemount at highly coveted EAGAN for a Saturday night showdown

(just thought I'd get ahead of the crowd on this one)

Wasn't an Eagan fan who started this one, guys. :P

I'm going to assume that what "the young guns" are gunning for is a "highly coveted" victory over the Wildcats on Saturday? Otherwise, it sounds like the Rosemounteers are envious of our park system/low tax rates/lack of a downtown.

Not to Keep Score, but I know who one dad thinks is going to be Eagan.

Big early season showdown that could have big implications on the race for third place in the SSC. Should be a good one!

Actually I think this is a big game, I mean Rosemount appears to be much improved and with many other teams in the conference like Jefferson, Eastview, Prior Lake and Burnsville looking strong I think every game is going to be big. I think it might be one of the best conference battles in the state this year and possibly one of the best we have seen in the SSC in a while.

SCORE Ratings show #8 Eagan with a 1 goal edge over #15 Rosemount (19.00 vs 18.00)

Considering Rosemount's strong game against Wayzata and Eagans back-to-back heavyweight bouts with Hill and Tonka, I'd say this is yet another close one.

Egan 3, Rosemount 2 sounds about right. Maybe 4-2 with an empty netter.

PageStat predicts Eagan by four.

I watched Rosemount in their Wayzata game and they looked stronger then in previous years. They have one strong line consisting of Gillett, Schultz, and Weiland. Not sure if this line will be able to produce enough to put up a fight against Eagan. Should be a good battle.

Whooper2, I agree that Gillett will have to do most of the scoring but from what I have heard the two seniors he is playing with can hold their own.

Two ?s for OldTimer99 and Whooper2 (LG), just a hunch: OT99 what did you make your son Whooper2 (LG) for breakfast this morning? Do you both ever argue on who gets to use the computer first?

Like I said it was a blow out 7eagan rosemount 0 49 to 11 shots on goal. Poor defense better think about reaching down to jv or blake S a bantam.
