Lake of the Woods vs. Warroad

Post by clutterbuck22 »

Read online tonight that Lake of the Woods only managed one shot on goal in the game and it went in in a 5-1 loss to Warroad. Warroad put 68 shots on goal tonight. Has to be a new record right?

Hard to say - MSHSL doesn't keep stats on shots, only "Stops" (most, least).

Wow, that's tough - you put up 68 shots & win the game and your goalie ends up with a zero save percentage !

Hockey hub has shots 68-1 with 63 saves for the Lake of the Woods goalie and yes the 1 shot taken by them appears to have gone in. Incredible if true.

With only 1 shot on net my guess is the goalie was asleep,
