I agree, those two really have some soft hands and great vision. Excellent poise for first year high school players.

Tye Ausmus. I will follow the trend and stay in 8A. His brother left after a year of high school for the usndp. Putting up points early in the year as a D man.

As much as people won't want to hear this, many of these guys played summer together on the Blades, Legacy or Machine for at least 5 summers together. As much as they are competitors - they are great friends.

So the next question would be did these summer programs do a great job developing the players or did they do a great job identifying top talent at a young age? Or maybe a mix of both? IN other words...would these same kids be perfomrig well if they had not skated in summer AAA programs. Not even sure if I have a strong opinion either way.
I don't expect an answer because opinions will be all over the map...just stoking the fire.

There were about 90 kids u-15 that made it to st cloud last year and another 90 that were good enough but there only so much room. This was the first group of kids to come thru the system who took advantage of all the new hockey programs. Nothern edge, reds rink rats, leagacy and all the start up hockey training that was just getting started. Now with all the choices the young kids should be even better.
