Grand Rapids 5, Roseau 2
If you went to this game what are your thoughts? Sounded like GR dominated and Roseau got back in it on back to back power plays. Hunter Shepard got a standing ovation as he killed off the 1st power play by himself. Also good to hear the kid from Sweden was a big time contributor tonight getting his first point. Roseau's top line sounded like they can really make the puck dance. I hope the Rams can win 8AA this year.

I was at the game. Rapids definitely had an edge throughout the whole game, except for taking a couple too many penalties. Did a good job of getting the puck into the Roseau end and getting a lot of shots off. Rapids held a high energy level throughout most of the game but had a bit of a lapse when they allowed Roseau's 2nd goal. Shepard did a great job in goal making several game changing saves. Overall it was a very good, clean game to watch. Both teams played well although Roseau seemed to be a little off, it was fun to watch Yon handle the puck.
Rapids had Salstrom (Swede kid) playing with the top line on the power play a couple times. It will be interesting to see how much of a contributor he becomes as he gets more accustomed to the team.
