SoS
It's nice to see that the top schools on this list, play tough schedules and purposely schedule opponents that will make the team better in the long run.Topping the list is Hill who always plays a brutal schedule..
Hill, who is (4-0) this year with wins over #7Burnsville, #8Eagan, #1BSM and LVS (rankings as of game day) is a good example. They also play STA twice, Tonka, Edina, Wayzata, Moorhead & two other Schwanns cup games based upon outcome of Tonka opener. Really the only top team that they don't play is Eden Prairie (who they played last 2 years) and maybe Blaine - depending on your rankings..
This makes it harder for Hill Murray kids to put up gaudy stats as well but they will be better off in the long run because of the competition.
Does anyone have Strength of Schedule ratings this year based on current or initial rankings??

KRACH has it but it only reflects the opponents played so are. It is updated regularly, and as the season progresses it gets more and more accurate.Wallyworld wrote:Does anyone have Strength of Schedule ratings this year based on current or initial rankings??

Re: SoS
They'll get to rack up a few against teams like South St. Paul, Henry Sibley, Richfield, Tartan, and Simley to name a few. I'm curious to see how many points Besse will put up with BSM's new independent schedule. He had a lot of games last year in the North Suburban Conference that he got to rack up the points. I would imagine that 60 or 70 is a good estimate for this year.Wallyworld wrote:It's nice to see that the top schools on this list, play tough schedules and purposely schedule opponents that will make the team better in the long run.Topping the list is Hill who always plays a brutal schedule..
