Centennial 3
Duluth East 0

After 2. Shots 28-17 East.

2 PP goals for the Cougars; the Hounds are taking too many penalties. East with plenty of good puck movement, but once again they aren't finishing. Munson very sharp in goal for Centennial.

If you only score on 5% of your shots, you're not going to win. 5-2 now. Pathetic.

They really shot themselves in the foot tonight. Too many penalties early on, gave up a shorty, and the one even-strength goal came on a ragged line change. And then they killed the comeback with the major penalty in the 3rd. The whole was nowhere near the sum of the parts tonight.

I am going to hear it on this one.

AHA & Chaska skate to a 5 - 5 tie in OT.
AHA came out and scored 3 time in the first. Then in the second had seven minutes in a row of power-play, including a major. Nothing.
Chaska came storming back after that confidence builder and the help of a hot goaltender. At the end of two it was 4 - 3 AHA. In the third Chaska tied it up then, a dumb penalty on the Stars and Chaska takes the lead. 1:29 to go in the game, Hengen pulls the goalie and AHA tied it up with about 10 seconds to go. Chaska almost won it in that remaining time, but OTY came and went.

Chaska played real good after the penalty kill. They are big and can skate. They took care of Mork, which helps.....OH well a tie is a tie.
