Park Rapids 3 vs. EGF 2 - Icarumba!!

Checked both the game scores above in here and the Section 8 site. Park Rapids 3 - EGF 2 someone give me a run down of this one, that had to be figured as some sort of an upset. <p></p><i></i>

It was a good game for Park they capitlized on every chance they had. Park's Goalie played well but they hung on for dear life at the end of the game. All they could do in the third was ice the puck. Very disapointing for EGF. <p></p><i></i>

i am suprised by this score but not shocked. PR is stronger this year than in past years, but are still a-ways away from being decent. Dropping their second in a row, very dissapointing for EGF. <p></p><i></i>

I disagree, PR is not stronger this year than in years past. EGF must be down. PR lost Tyler Lehrke one of state's leading scorers past 3 years. Most of their talent is sophomore's. Also got handled by Detroit Lakes last week. <p></p><i></i>

2 years ago Park Rapids had it's best season in recent memory, taking a 5 seed in the section 8a tournament. They are much worse now, I don't know how this happened. Unbelievable. <p></p><i></i>

I will give you credit for that one game.. But you need to be realistic also.. EGF is a squad that didn't get the breaks and you got more that your share.. Yes you may have created your breaks with hard work but I see it as if you played EGF 10 times you may win 2 of 10. PR is not a section powerhouse and at best will be a five or six seed when it is all said and done. You need to beat more that one above average team to get the respect you are looking for.
