Minnesota Magicians November Home Stand

Magicians vs Janesville Jets

Last weekend the Magicians had a three game road series vs Janesville and took 5 of 6 points from the Jets. It was a great weekend away from home as Travis Koepke (Hermantown), Joe Kleven (Prior Lake), Kris Mckinzie (Duluth Marshall) and Denis Shevyrin (Germany) all found the back of the net for their first NAHL goals of the young season. Thomas Delaney (White Bear Lake) had a big weekend picking up 4 points (3g and 1a) in the 3 games from the blue line.

This weekend will be rocking again at Richfield Ice Arena as we face off against the Janesville Jets to complete the home and home series on Friday and Saturday. Friday will be Pucks for Paws night which showcases foster home animals for Second Hand Hounds, the Edina based non-profit animal rescue program. Saturday night will be Ladies Night! All ladies receive 50% tickets at the box office for the game.

The Magicians are 3-1-1 in their last 5 games and 6-2 at home this season. Make sure to get your tickets early for the games this weekend and enjoy free parking and beer specials all November long! The Magicians have 8 home games in November and look to make a big push up the standings in the toughest division in the NAHL.

Magicians vs Aberdeen Wings

Last weekend the Magicians took 3 of 4 points vs Janesville Jets at home. The 3 points pushed the Magicians passed Coulee Region in the standings. It was another great home stand pushing the Magicians home record to 7-2-1 this season. Matt Colford (Champlin Park/Breck HS) is on a tear 4 points in his last 3 games along with Captain Nick Kuchera (Eagan HS) who has 5 points in his last 3 games.

This weekend will another excitement packed doubleheader at Richfield Ice Arena as we host the Aberdeen Wings. Aberdeen comes into this weekend posting a road record of 6-0-1 but lost their past two games at home last weekend to the Minnesota Wilderness. The Wings will be ready to play as 10 former Minnesota High School Hockey players return to their home state for the first ever meeting vs the Minnesota Magicians.

Friday night the first 100 fans purchasing a beer get a free Magicians beer koozie. Saturday is glow night where the first 600 fans get a Magicinas glow necklace, which is sure to light up the pre-game and intermissions. Make sure to get your tickets early for the games this weekend and enjoy free parking and beer specials all weekend long! The Magicians have 6 home games remaining in November and look to continue their push up the standings in the toughest division in the NAHL.

Next Home Game @ Richfield Ice Arena
This Friday, December 6th vs Coulee Region 7:30pm

The Minnesota Magicians completed the long November home stand with a sweep of the Brookings Blizzard last Friday and Saturday 4-3 and 2-0. It was a great weekend to finish off November with Goalie Atte Tolvanen (Finland) picking up both victories for the Magic including the shutout on Saturday evening. Thomas Delaney (White Bear Lake), Mario Bianchi (Bloomington/Holy Angels) and Matt Colford (Champlin Park/Breck) all picked up a goal and an assist on the weekend to power the Magicians strong November finish.

December action begins this Friday, December 6th at Richfield Ice Arena as the Magicians host Coulee Region at 7:30pm. Nine Minnesota natives return home to face off against Magicians which is sure to be an energy packed night as the Magicians hold a one point advantage in the Midwest Division over Coulee Region. The gates open at 6:15pm and the puck drops at 7:30pm so get your tickets early!

Haven't followed the team or league this year. Just wondering how team and individual players are doing? Also what is the attendance like?
