"Iverson feels the opportunity to play alongside top-notch talent such as Rattie, Winnipeg Jets second-rounder Nicolas Petan and Nashville Predators prospect Brendan Leipsic helped his development by seeing firsthand what it takes to garner attention from NHL scouts."

Minnesota HS hockey has put out plenty of FIRST rounders the last 15 years
- would have been one of the most talked about players out there, not on the bench/back burners with a bunch of 20 year olds.
- would have been a scoring machine at Breck... He already had the grit that Portland mostly uses him for.
- would have been developing star flare at Breck.
- I KNOW he would be top 25 in the draft list had he stayed at Breck.

Even people that are close to him are under the same impression..

Portland uses him mostly for grit? He's only a top 6 goal scorer for them and key guy on the power play, but why let facts get in the way. According to your logic he should have probably just stayed in bantam. Just imagine the star flare he would developing as a 10 ppg scoring machine. Probably first overall in the draft. Damn Portland! Why didn't they leave him be so he could shine against younger players in Minnesota Class A high school this season

High school hockey is plenty strong to develop in... Good to see he's finally getting some real ice time..

I must have not got my paper this morning, has Minnesota joined Colorado by legalizing the herb, or are you just rolling them on your own Bo?

They pluck a kid that is projected to go high in the draft before he even gets there and you guys act like the dub had everything to do with it.

Must be a spooky trip you're on...
