Beantown Classic
This is calling out to get roster information and results. Can anyone help here? Who is on the MN teams and how are they doing?
At the 2000's there were 3 teams from MN. 21 teams total
Blades 2000 (got 2nd of 21 teams)
Blades 00/01 (lost a 5/12 game as a 12 seed I think)
Machine 00/01 combo (lost a 7/10 game as a 10 seed)
Other teams I recognized (out of 140+ teams) were Skate to Excellence, Whitecaps, & Ice Cats (I think that is what they were called).
There was some very good teams there...one team in the top division had 5+ Olympians on it. I think that they ended up 3rd. Poulan (Canadian MVP), Duggan, Knight, 1 Lamoreux, and I can't recall the other one.
The team that won the 2000 division was 75% of the Ontario U14 provincial champion from last year. They were big and very skilled.
A well run tourney...

I am pretty sure the team with the Olympic players won the Ship. I saw the end of that game in which they won 5 or 6 to 2 and was told it was the Championship game for the College level. That team played my daughter's team as well and spanked them pretty good. Any team with Hillary Knight on it will do very well. She is incredible.

All five Minnesota teams made it to playoff round at the u19 division out of 59 teams. Mn Whitecaps were a final four team. Skate to Excellence and Ice Cats were final 8 teams. Blades teams and Team Minnesota went out in first round of playoffs. There were also other minnesota kids on other teams. Great weekend of hockey.
