4AA

Post by icehock19 » Sun Jan 08, 2006 5:43 pm

Anyone have any comments on this seasons standings so far? I just like to comment on how pretty much the standings look like they do every year with elk river centennial at the top with blaine maple grove and champlin park in the middle with CR anoka andover and PC down at the bottom fighting for wins. I thought osseo would be a much better contender this year and have some more wins under their belt but they seem to be struggling with some of the weaker teams, and i am kind of surprised on anoka and andover i didnt think they would have as many wins as they do already in the season. Just wondering what others think about this...

So far it looks like its pretty much down to Maple Grove, Wayzata, and Blaine as the top three in the section. 4AA isn't that strong of a section this year in my mind.

I think this section will put up a fight in the state tournament like always. Blaine is the strongest team as of now and they have an 8-4 record including a bug win over Centennial and Maple Grove and Wayzata are doing allright themselves. Section 4aa is always a tough section to beat and they will have great expierence come playoff time because they never seem to get a night off in that tough confrence. We'll see though.
