State Tourney Game Times Question

Post by Chris J »

I was looking at the State High School League website to see what sections are meeting at State. Here are the starting times they list:

"AA" Quarters: 11AM & 1PM; 6PM & 8PM
"AA" Semis: 6PM & 8PM
"AA" Final: 7PM

"A" Quarters: 11AM & 1PM; 6PM & 8PM
"A" Semis: 11AM & 1PM
"A" Final: 12 Noon

Are these listings correct? Just wondering.

They moved the times up because the games were way too late.... after OT and TV timeouts. I think it is a great idea.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

I agree. We now have 17 minute periods and it was getting way too late for the last games on the first day...a school night no less.

Now , I might have a shot at staying awake for the third period...er....I mean, now the kids can get some sleep so they can be fresh the next day for class.

it's a good thing, but I'm going to need a new excuse... the spareless old lady's flat tire at lunch time just won't cut it... maybe honesty will prevail this year!
