Duluth Marshall at 10??? I believe they went 0 - 4 in Cloquet and may not win a game all season. Proctor Hermantown has some real nice players and a few weeks into the season, may climb a little higher on people's list.

Tonka- losing Dman Crow hurts but still strong team
MG- Larson is gone, but plenty remains of their critical core players,
goaltending is very strong
Hm- 84 pts are gone, depth will help a lot but who will score is ?,
goalies are big ? mark
Edina- Williamson gone , but team potentially could be better

A:

Breck: No Schwartzman but team looks to be strong, very very good in goal
SPU: losing half of Dmen of an average defense hurts, offense looks good
plus 1 yr rental SR from Irondale looks to help offense even more
Blake:losing Chancellor and Lund says a lot
P/H: Two recruits from Duluth help a good team get better
Are the two Duluth recruits eligible? At least one of the families did not move to Hermantown by the start of the school year. They have an apartment while they're waiting for their house to sell but they didn't get it until well after the school year started.
But when did they rent the apartment? Like previous transfer recruits, Hermantown and elsewhere, as long as they can show a lease dated before school starts they can say they lived there and the MSHSL will never check. Surprised they sold their houses. Previous move-ins "allegedly" only moved on paper for a season and then returned to their original homes. I say "allegedly" because this was an ongoing discussion around the metro this summer. Even more so by their own families than by their opponents. No idea if this is true or who is affected but it is an impressive fiction if it is not in fact true. Guess the official rosters will tell the story?
This is the only case I've heard since the Achiever mess of a team trying to skirt the transfer rules ("allegedly") but it would be surprising to find they are the only ones doing this since the rule enforcers (MSHSL) have zero credibility. I'd like to believe this is not really happening. But it sounds like an awful lot of bad blood up north.
What next.

I just threw that out there. I have no idea what their team looks like but someone up there told me they were in every game, including Proctor. We can resume talking about Breck and Blake now lol

Don't know much about AA with the exception that the traditional powers will be in the mix again. Hill Murray returns some top talent. Eden Prairie as deep as ever. Minnetonka and Edina two good programs that just reload. Dark horses include Chaska/Chanhassen and Centential. Both have good young kids to include some sophs that are up there with the best in the state.

In A it will be much of the same IMO. Breck and Blake for sure. Both return some of the top talent in the State and their biggest challenge may be when they play each other . St. Paul United again will be tough. Up north Proctor/Hermantown is the team to beat (again). They lost little and return their top players. They will be deeper then in past years. East Grand Forsk was gutted when the coach left a few years ago and has not recovered. Thief lost alot, but still have Jorde. Not sure who Warroad recrutied in this year.

Looking forward to another great year!

HM - lost 84 points. Goaltending will be a big challenge for them. A retooling year for growth for their young players.
