Luverne, like the last 2 years (yes I stand by that) will need goatending to win, but shouldn't have to be great. Iffy tending and some untimely penalties near the end of the game cost them last year. They have no one in the section that is as'tough' as the teams they have faced in the finals the past few. Whole section is on the low end this year. They only have themselves to beat. Maybe this coach can create some team on that team. I know my group is struggling with similar issues. Deadly.

Sick. Should be back. We need more than that though. Something more intangible if we are going to play to potential. Have seen only flashes of it this season. Seem too interested in off ice activity and extracurriculars on ice. :?

Nice work on getting the kid from Haiti 🇭🇹! Was it a week long trip for you? Will this put the crusaders over the top finally this year? Maybe a return trip with Hillary to find another one??

Should be an interesting one. There is a huge drop off after the top 5 teams, and you could even possibly make a case for the top 4 being in another class than the remaining.

Considering New Ulm and Hutchinson tied during the regular season, I'd say Hutch is right there. Should be a good one in New Ulm a week from tonight.

I don't believe Stremcha has beaten LDC yet. Will be a difficult game for sure.

Would have to agree that it should be a very good game in New Ulm tomorrow night in a battle between who I think are the sections two best goaltenders (being Ericson is hurt, even as an eagles fan you feel extremely bad for the kid). Hutch only has 6 wins but they are still a dangerous team. I don't think Hutch is a threat to win the section, but anything can happen in one game. I think both teams would tell you that the first meeting was very sloppy hockey early in the year and that both have improved a lot since their first meeting. I just hope the refs let the players decide this one.
