List on the first page appears to be missing Stejskal and Tabor for sure.redtundra wrote:Moe is at Waterloo. Gone. Does anyone have an updated list of early departs? I assume we know most by now.BP wrote:I don't see HF's Jared Moe on the list? I thought he was at Dubuque?
Others notable in their absence from Elite League rosters who haven't been mentioned or confirmed here: Almquist (HF), Koster (Chaska), Hamstad (WBL), McGregor (Cent), Brodzinski (Blaine), Kukkonen (MG)...some of them are playing juniors, some for the Blades?
Karl - most are Blades guys. Some HP guys tookarl(east) wrote:List on the first page appears to be missing Stejskal and Tabor for sure.redtundra wrote:Moe is at Waterloo. Gone. Ouch... A team that was poised to take it's section and make a run in the tournament. I figured he would have done a before and after to make a run... especially with that solid of a group!WestMetro wrote:Hearing that MCGregor won't be back from Bloomington
Sounds like he's standing out in scrimmages down there... so it probably makes the decision all the harder.
I see 5 goalies on the updated list on page 1. It's hard to argue that is the one position where playing high school all the way through may be a disadvantage.karl(east) wrote:List on the first page appears to be missing Stejskal and Tabor for sure.redtundra wrote:Moe is at Waterloo. What was the ultimatum? They release him? Doubt it!! So staying in Highschool is about proving something? Interesting!Cougaralumni14 wrote:Bloomington gave McGregor an ultimatum, either he stayed the whole season with them or played for Centennial. He made the right choice staying in Bloomington, didn't have to prove much more in the high school league. section 5AA is wide open.

I assume the team was not willing to do a "before and after" arrangement. Despite what many posters believe, most USHL teams are moving away from letting players do "before and after." Most teams find these arrangements detrimental. Of course there are exceptions for truly exceptional players or if there is a belief that the player will decide to stay after spending a few months with the USHL team. One other scenario is treating the early fall as a tryout - if the player earns enough ice time they will stay in the USHL, if not they head back to high school This is less common.Bluelightspecial-II wrote:What was the ultimatum? WM: just checked Green Bay 23 man roster and didn't see Anderson on it. Unless he is injured (I hope he isn't) and put on IR or he was traded to another USHL team the last few days ( I quickly looked on other rosters and didn't see him on one) therefore I think he's a Trojan for one more year. Go Trojans and I hope Grant had a great senior year. GB
