Mn HS that are playing in the NHL
What HS has had the most players see time in the NHL this year? I’m guessing 4 or 5 players, would be the most.
If I had to guess it would be between Shattuck, Edina, Tonka and EP but I honestly don't know the HS (if there was one) for all of the names in this link, some listed here never played a HS game in MN and there are probably others that grew up in MN and/or played HS here but were born elsewhere.

Other than Shattuck, it looks like a lot of schools are tied with 2 active NHL players.
Blaine- Hendricks, Bjugstad
Duluth East- Forbort, Toninato
Elk River- Martin, Prosser
Eden Prairie- Leddy, Seeler
Lakeville North (?)- Lindgren, Skjei
So. St. Paul- Faulk, Stalock
Warroad- Nelson, Oshie
There are probably more, along with a lot of guys battling back and forth between the AHL & NHL.

Gardiner and you could possibly include Lettieri since getting into his first game for Tonka.DubCHAGuy wrote:Other than Shattuck, it looks like a lot of schools are tied with 2 active NHL players.

Here's a list of players of Minnesota "origin" who played at least one game in the NHL this season:

Nobody is missing him. Great player. The question was which HS program has the most current NHL'ers. Neither one of those programs could muster up another NHL player to get them on the list of 2+ current players.green4 wrote:Seem to be missing the leading American goal scorer in the NHL, Anders Lee from Edina/STA
Also from Tonka only Jake Gardiner is currently on an NHL roster, but yes they've had 3 play in the league this year. As has Blaine with Jonny Brodzinski (currently back in the AHL) playing quite a bit for LA.

Add Brodzinski to Blaine. They could have four for a while if Tufte enters before Hendricks retires.DubCHAGuy wrote:Other than Shattuck, it looks like a lot of schools are tied with 2 active NHL players.
