Man, Mahtomedi just crumbled at the end of the first period there. The first goal was lucky, but then the Zephyrs gave up a wide open shot from the slot, which Eckerline buried, and took a silly penalty. It’s going to be an uphill battle for Mahtomedi to climb back into the game, despite the big advantage and shots.

No kidding, that was a crazy momentum turn. My streaming went out for a bit when it was 2-0 Orono. I decided to run down the street for a quick errand, and by the time returned it was tied at 4. Mahtomedi is just pounding the net with shots!
