Clarkson is an interesting choice. It is such a tiny and remote school that has traditionally relied heavily on Canadian players. Perhaps the excellent performance of EP’s Jake Kielly in net has opened up some recruiting opportunities for Minnesotans there. Clarkson has been on the upswing the past few seasons and has strong academics, so it has plenty to offer.

I assumed it would only be a matter of time before Grannis committed somewhere. He was a bit of a late bloomer after struggling some as a sophomore at Orono, but really turned himself into an outstanding player over the last two years - very strong, skates well, and can definitely finish. Congratulations to George and good luck at the next level!

This was the first season I saw him play, a couple times at New Hope Elite and then against Wayzata in regular season .

A very powerful skater, one of the most impressive skating strides Ive seen in many years! Also great sniper!

Congrats on the D1!
