Apparently, they're not going to call penalties.

It's one thing to "let them play" but a cross-check to the back after the whistle? Right in front of the ref.

Why do these schools even bring their bands anymore? The PA is blaring loud music and ads near constantly, you have to shout to talk to the person next to you. The bands can barely get a note in edgewise. I voice was hoarse by the time the Spuds hit the ice. The band directors should tell the MSHSL "Ah, yeah, I'll bring the band again when we have time to play a couple of tunes. It's not worth renting the bus otherwise."

And why can't we get the vaunted Lou's Keys to the Game anymore?

Dear hockey, more bands and organ music, please. When I go to a hockey game, I don't want to feel like I'm at a rave.

Bring back the Tournament Programs!! I don’t want to do an internet search to find who was on the all tournament team last year. Plus I kept one every year I went before the Wuhan Flu.

Yeah, I agree. I don't get it. Was the program a money loser? I guess I always thought they made money on program sales. It's a lot more convenient to quickly flip through the pages of a program than to try to find it on my phone. You'd think the MSHSL is run by public school administrators who don't have much professional experience with meeting consumer demands.

If I had to guess, the rising costs of printing would have made the cost of the program higher than they figured they could get a return on.

Paper is becoming a thing of the past. Even at my place of employment, everything used to be paper, have now transitioned to electronic copies/PDFs. If we want a paper copy of something, we have to print it off. It is surprising how much we save on paper/printer costs.

The guy in the pink/darker pink ballerina outfit. Also the red teletubbies outfit. I'm not sure what that was.

The woman wearing the "Cake" Edina shirt.

Tentatively the LVS band because I could "hear" them, but I recognize it may depend on where you're sitting.

Anyone at the A 3rd place game?
1-0 Hermantown 6 min. mark period 3.
SOG 24-6 Hermantown.
Neither team looks overly enthused.

Same here in the AA 3rd place game. Sometimes a skater can just walk right in on goal LOL.

Yes, I like Mark, but he can get carried away.

I have never enjoyed Lou (except in perosn).

Next year it will be 60 tournaments for Lou. It's important to know when to exit the stage. Some years back now, the long time PA guy, who's name escapes me but other will know, hung on an extra year or two, and it wasn't pretty. Don't try to wait around for your great grandkids, Lou.
