sam, aka starsalum. couple of items to ponder. what's the deal with boulder prof. ward churchhill? he's created quite the political rift by some recent comments/publications. is he still on the faculty? taken any of his classes in ethics? i have a good friend whose son played hockey in the avon/west vail area. he scouted out colleges and landed in minnesota at gustavus...making the varsity hockey team as a freshman winger. his name is nate simon. lastly, check out the boulder cafe "the egg and i". great food. i know the owners from fort collins. great people! and, hey, i'll be at the aha v av game the 24th...no doubt about that game's winner. <p></p><i></i>

NP, yeah the whole Ward thing has kinda died down, it was a real big deal for a while there though. Personally, I think the guys a fraud and should be fired, but what can ya do. And yeah I actually tried to go to the egg and i earlier this month at about 2 pm, seems as though they close at noon, so weird. I wont see ya at the AV game, Im not flying home till the fri. of the tourney so, hopefully the guys can pull off some wins so I can see em! <p></p><i></i>

Yes I remember those days - my older brother drove us down from IFalls to watch scrimmages.<br><br>Campus has changed some - Gillette rec building is really nice.<br>Deputy Hall is now almost all admin.<br>Memorial is not used much.<br>LIbrary has been all redone. <br>Football stadium ispretty much the same.<br><br>If we get a new arena that will be great.<br><br>Town has changed drastically.<br><br>Do you remember a guy call Echternach - he played football for BSC back then - from So St Paul. <p></p><i></i>

star. no cabin is cheesehead country. gandydancer is slang for a railroad track section worker...in my first life i was a section track worker for the np (northern pacific rr). good pay, hard working conditions in eastern dakotos. reality hit when i found out the oldtimers in their 50's were making about $2.00 more than me. i knew this was not for me... so enlisted in the army and saw the world. since my retirement i'm still seeing the world and enjoy watching hockey. keep trying to get a bite at the "egg and i" in boulder...great food. <p></p><i></i>
