Re: Sarner

2n10. craig is looking for the right "fit". he's a talented force and sometimes rubs people the wrong way. my buddies from ep lament the fact that coach smith brought sarner on board to bolster (read coaching experience) the defense and make a run to state...presumably with rau playing his final season. did he fail? i'm not privy to the year-end defense stats, but, i believe he had very talented players to work with. a few had middle of the season injuries which may have slowed things down, but, he did his best with the talent he had...which, again was damn good. the buck would stop with head coach smith, not sarner, for their first section game loss with the skippers.

hey, a guy with a kid that graduated from west point can't be all that bad can he?

I really hope for the kid's sake that's not him. Unnecessary post that really has no bearing on the topic. If it is, likely won't see him around long. Also, likely to shut down the topic. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

Certain Junior Defenseman

Post by hockeyxprt » Thu Mar 17, 2005 8:50 am

It would be surprising to me if this certain Junior defenseman would actually transfer to Jefferson to follow Blatherwick. It would seem a better fit for him, if he did want to leave the program, to go to Michigan instead. Not to mention, there is a lot of hassle changing schools half way through high school. I don't think his family would go for that. Could be wrong, but I wouldn't get too excited as a Jags fan just yet.

Blatherwick

Post by Puckguy » Fri Mar 18, 2005 10:04 am

Blatherwick has joined the Minnetonka staff, but from what I've heard only in the areas of the summer program, and youth hockey development. May not be on the high school staff (his choice). <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

Blatherwick will be working year round with the Minnetonka hockey - especially with the high school team.

From what I've heard he and Pauly haven't decided yet what do in terms of coaching assignments
