I have heard DE jv is good so it should be a good game. Hibbing has to take on Moorhead first on the 21st.
DE play them yet?

Well they tied warroad but outshot them. I don't know exactly what the shots were on goal in Mayo but from what i hear (could be a rumor) they weren't all that hard in Mayo. Teams have thier good games and thier bad games and everyone knows that. They show they can play with the best.

i think all you need to beat hibbing jv is a good power play im sure you can bank on 35 getting a few penalties for cross checking first three shifts i had when we played them i drew three penalties and number 3 who is a JUNIOR and still talks trash on JV

Boblee

I wasn;t there in time to see the jv game but i talked to the coaches. of course they won score was 6-0. just another game that went into running time.

and the kid talking about #35 and #3

must have gotten roughed up by #35 huh? yeah when he gets ticked he tends to throw you a round a bit. Doesn;t hurt Hibbing too much though they still pull the win. And about #3 only reason he is on jv is because he just came to Hibbing this year and they tend to start you out in jv. He may talk trash but he tries hard and puts in 110% every shift. He must have said something you didn't like.

hibbings jv is now 13-1-2
GO BLUEJACKETS

hockey1417

I wouldn't want to go into a corner with #35 most people don;t think he is that big but he actually is. One strong kid. when you make him mad he goes after you. Don't know why he just does. Maybe don;t get in his way next time and you won't have to worry about it. Also, even though he took 3 penalties and they (other team) were on a power play so much why couldn't they win?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... keyfan>HHS HoCkEy FaN at: 1/19/05 11:07 pm

hockey1417 or whatever your name is...even with a good power play its not going to help..i remember watching that game from the stands and seeing that no matter how many power plays cloquet got it didnt help them seeing as the score was 6-0....i do remember however seeing some idiot for cloquet getting tossed for throwing a haymaker at one of the hibbing jv boys...real classy...oh and since when is it legal for kids on the cloquet team to play 5 and 6 periods in one night???i will leave that for another topic just thought i would mention it.. and as for #35 and # 3 goes, i remember thos guys tossing the lumberjacks around all night, # 35 is a big boy that can really get the job done with some big hits and he can even put the puck in the net when he wants to and # 3 is an all around player that can make the big hits, make the passes and bury the puck during clutch situations, but it seems like that is the whole hibbing jv that can do all of this...im just going to say total domination on hibbings part the other night and look out moorhead

MoorheadDomination

I wouldn't say that. Remember the spuds are able to beat. Warroad beat them not to long ago. Hibbing did tie with Warroad but outshot them by a good margin. So I wouldn;t exactly say they will smoke them.

Don't think Moorhead is unstoppable because they are!

Hey they just didn't play. And also took way to many penaltys. Oh yeah your buddy #35 took one cross checking penalty and other then that he just layed those spuds out like nothing. But the Varsity sure did play. How close did your varsity come to beating Moorhead? That's what I thought <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> Hibbing only lost by 1 and had many chances to tie the game, just couldn;t find the back of the net.

6-0 moorhead. Hibbing was too fired up i think, they were in the penalty box the whole game

How did Hibbing beat Warroad? They had nothing against the Spuds. I know they took some penalty's but it wouldn't have mattered. It wasn't even close.

Hibbing didn't beat warroad they tied them. 0-0 but out played them and out shot them.

spuds game

They did not come out to play. I think they were just to fired up for the game. Also they were in the box WAY to much so yes penalties were a factor when it was 5 on 3 in favor of the spuds to many times in the game.

hibbing v. moorhead

Post by statehockey22 » Sun Jan 23, 2005 12:16 pm

your all wrong....hibbing came out to play but they couldnt capitalize on the great opportunites they head...moorheads goalie is very good and could easily play for the varsity...he prolly should have, he looked better than the varsity goalie anyway. But some very easy goals were missed possibly makin the game a 6-6 game..the hibbing goalie didnt have his best game tho, a little shaky in the nets...ill just say that hibbing hung right with them except up on the score board...look out greenway
