| After doing some research I found that he's been having a tough year but against Roseau in Roseau St. Cloud Apollo's Ryne Zenner really showed me something. With his team over -matched he put up save percentage in the low 90's and made some really nice saves. |

| When we played them early on in the year Zenner got pulled i believe at their home rink. I dont think he is performing much at St Cloud Apollo |

| The best JV goalie is owatonnas. No way. The team may be good at controlling the play, but no way is he the best jv goalie. I seen a game against AL and he didn't even get tested and looked questionalble on his feet. I think AL had someting like 8 shots to 35 and the score was only 3-0. Sure he didn't let any in, but if he was tested the score whould have changed. It is hard to say who the best jv goalie is. Some teames are just better out front like owatonna and make the goalie look good. Other goalies have bad teams in front of them and see 40 plus shots a night. To say the BEST is not correct. Thats why hockey is a team sport. |

| How can you say that if he would have been tested more the score would have been different? Who knows what would have happened or how many goals he would have let in? I like how you're saying that he was shaky in a shutout performance. |

| He's right, a shutout is a shutout, however, there's a JV goalie from SCC named Corey Neer. He's lightning quick and can steal a game. You should really see him play, if you can see him at all. |

Quote: Its all about shots. More shots, more times the puck will go in.
False statement.
More shots...More opportunity for the puck to go in. Also more chances for the goalie to prove why he's the best. "2A You are a true Cidiot" - IronRanger4ever |

| Obviously there's a lot that you don't understand. Just because a JV goalie has 30 shots on him doesn't mean that a certain number are going to go in. I'm sure we've both seen a game where a goalie had a 40-60 save shutout and a game where a goalie had 10 shots and let in 5 goals. As much as I hate to admit it, 2A is right, more shots means more of an oppertunity for goals to go in, not necessairly that more goals will go in. |

Boerger - Burnsville, very quick feet. If he can learn to stay up more (plays like Manny) he will be a great V goalie (sophmore)
Sturlaugson - LKVL North - big kid 6' 1", great fundamentals (plays like Rollie) needs to play more agressively, should play V next season. |

Quote: If a team get more shots on a goalie that puck will go in. Its simple math buddy.
Is there a Math Equation for this?
If Martin Brodeur sees 30 shots from Apollo's JV team, not many will go in.
If a squirt goalie sees 10 shots from Apollo's JV team, more will go in.
So...obviously outliers occur. It is not simple math...buddy. There is no mathematical equation for how good a goalie is or how many shots will go in out of 10. "2A You are a true Cidiot" - IronRanger4ever |

| Remember the name Brandon Wigen of the 22-0-3 Woodbury Royals. He is better than a lot of Varsity goalies. |

| Steve is the best goalie in JV. i was on his team last year. Last year he gave up 7 goals in 11 starts, as his team went 19-4-1. This year he should have be the Varsity starter but saw little time. On JV he had several shutouts. And led his Roseville JV to a 20-3-2 mark. In two years at JV his goals against is under 1 and his record is about 20-2. Look for him next year at the Varsity level, but he is most likely going to be sharing time with fellow junior Luke Kretchmer, also solid. |

| If you asked 100 people who the best goalie of all time was, you wouldn't get more than five different names, is it just a random happening that all those people would agree being that there is no best goalie? |
