Blake @ Minnetonka

Post by HShockeywatcher » Mon Dec 25, 2006 11:22 am

Blake seems to be on a down year and Minnetonka is for some reason in the Bronze Cup. Will there be an upset in the last quarterfinal game of the Bronze?

Shots

Its nice to know that we are on a "down year". Thats what everyone said about us last year at the begining of the year. Louwerse is back and it should be a great game. I like our chances and think it will end up a one goal game. Whoever gopherhockey33 is (someone from Chaska or Holy Angels), outshooting an opponent doesn't win you a game but then again, you would know that.

Out shooting a team doesn't win you a game you're right, but in many situations this year a team has scored more goals than the other team got SOG, so sometimes it does matter. But more power to ya if you guys can win.

shots

I am sure Minnetonka is a good team. I am not saying we are going to win. I like our chances. From what I hear Minnetonka has one really good player, Jack Paul, and that the rest of the team are quality players but nothing special. One question: What games were there more goals than the other team had shots?

A couple of weeks ago Duluth Marshall beat Duluth Central 13-0 and shots were 68-5

Minnetonka won 7-0. So much for Blake having a chance...

I think they are just real young and inexperienced. MInnetonka was to deep. Their first and second lines had 6 of the seven. Lowerese looked OK for blake And the Paul line with twaddle and Gaediner were dominant.

Let's see... You lost to Woodbury, Red Wing, and Rochester Lourdes. And just got steamrolled in Schwans 7-0 by Tonka. Your on a down year.

Oh BTW

Holy Angels vs. Farmington
10-1
SOG 53-9
Third times a charm.

Got hammered is true. Did it feel like last Satruday to you? Minnetonka was a better team but lets not diss our losses. Have you looked at who beat White Bear last week? Woodbury. Lourdes is a good team. You will be able to watch the re-match in March from your couch at home. Loss to Red Wing was pathetic..true. Congrats to Minnetonka. I see why they gave AHA the best game of the year so far.

We actually beat Chaska 10-3 last saturday but yeah whatever you say. And actually Roseville gave AHA the best game of the year so far.
Third times a charm.

Blake skated with Tonka for the first 5 min or so but they were chasing the rest of the game. Two shots in the first period the goalies werent outstanding but thats not the reason why it was a blow out. Tonka is a solid AA team and Blake is bottom of the barrel A team, no buisness playing each other.

Mr. Chederquist:

Dont you have anything better to do? Jefferson is the one going down the drain. Maybe the coach should have stayed here.
