Jefferson @ Moorhead

Post by HShockeywatcher » Wed Dec 27, 2006 11:51 am

Moorhead's undefeated streak ended prematurely and brought Roseville some competition on the loser's side. Will Jefferson put up a challenge for them?

We could see another Centennial game, but I don't think so.

5-3 Moorhead
Third times a charm.

The Jag faithful are either not responding or not believing.

Moorhead 5 to 2. Moorhead has better D, better goalie and are a deeper team.

Moorhead 6
Jefferson 3

Not enough D or goaltending for the Jags. Moorhead will be too much.

Moorhead 6 Jefferson 1. Moordhead will dominate after losing last night. If Rooseville and Moorhead both win , it could be an interesting game tomorrow.

The Jag faithful will always believe.......check out our superfan page.

They are a young team and will only improve as the season progresses...

Jags 3
Spuds 2

How's that for a response? :D

My Dad listened on the radio in Moorhead last night. Anyone know what station that might be? How about a Jags radio station?

Nice to see the Jag faithful chiming in. I think they will improve as the season progresses as well.

How about 9-1 Moorhead

Wow, Pat Deitz with 4 goals, Michael Weiss and Jordy Christian each with one, Nick Theilen with 2, Devin Nitzy with 1.

That is some high offense from the top 2 lines.
Hot potato!

So, not to take anything away from the spuds but if I were them I wouldn't brag too much about beating that particular Jag team that was on the ice yesterday. The spuds could have put their JV team on the ice and beat the Jag players that were playing yesterday.

If you really knew records going back......you'd spout off a lil' less. But, it's pretty obvious you don't know what you're talking about. No - there was not an impressive Jag team on the ice. There probably are not too many teams (young and inexperienced) wishing their season ended differently or game they'd love to forget.

Cuda....stop whining...your team has former Varsity, JV and Bantam A players on it developing in a very competitive league with what everyone is told are great coaches. You telling me that we need to give them excuses now?

Impress me with your vast hockey historical knowledge or figure out how to help your program face their realities today.

The realities are that Jefferson(not ranked very high) has a very young team and they played an angry Moorhead team who lost the night before(rated #1 most of the year). 9 or 10 penalties will kill you in any game let alone against a top notch team with the power play Moorhead has. I don't see anybody making excuses, and at last check, it's nobodies responsiblity that posts on a msg board to fix the problems of the teams they root for unless they are the head coach or 1 of the players.

It's funny how someone claims Jefferson has done nothing since 2002 when they've won the Lake how many years in a row and have gone to State tournies since that claim was made. There is nothing a coach could say or do to stop Moorhead from beating Jefferson yesterday, and anybody that thinks otherwise needs their head promptly removed from their backside.

First off, I was never taught to be a whiner or to make excuses. Which is possibly why my job doesn't consist of only a day job (some of us don't know that our jobs will only be days-how fortunate). The impression I have of Neutron's posts is that he THINKS before he posts. If he doesn't catch a particular game...he asks before he comments. Perhaps it would help if you did the same.

Being a young, rebuilding team...you may call it an excuse - I call it a fact. :D

Oh but I have. Guess we just see things differently. :) Lets wait and see what happens after New Years. And no one hopes more than I that they can show what they got as I have always supported Jefferson along with my teams up north. Always thought they were a classy bunch of guys and fun to play against. Maybe I WAS a little cranky!
