Red Wing V.S. Tartan

Post by goalieboy1 »

will tartan bounce back from giving up 74 shots to johnson and losing to st thomas and hill, or will red wing dominate the titans in oakdale?

Tartan has been in a slump the past couple games, they will pick it up and build their confidence back up in the game against red wing.

red wing

Post by goalieboy1 »

personally i think Red wing will dominate the titans, they dont play any defense, larson always rushes the puck and gets stuck, and hes too slow to get back, and their powerplay D stay on the ice WAY to long. and overall they are just terrible, and i looked online today and it said they lost 5-0 last year to red wing

only D

Defenseman are not the ONLY Defense in the hockey game... They got backcheckers... and a wall of a goalie...

Mahtomedi beat Redwing by OUTWORKING them...

Tartan beat mahtomedi by outworking them....

If Tartan comes ready to play.... and has no momentum slumps in the game... they should be all over Redwing.. If they play with speed..

tartan

yes ok, but still, they are a BIG part of it, and if larson rushes the puck, they struggle.

The young guns in Red Wing are finally starting to come together with the upperclassmen and its looking good down there. I think theyre 4-0-1 in the last five now with the win tonight.

I dont know too much about Tartan.. but I'll take Red Wing 4-3.

Well how do you know so much about tartan if you don't go to the game or play on the team? That doesn't make any sense.

Boblee the shots were 45-37 or something in favor of Johnson. IT was no where close to 73 shots.

how do you fig????.... the LOWEST estimate was 50.. and the only reason there could be more is because they had times when they would have 3-4 shots in tight/rebouds.

O and the whole goalieboy1 drama...

I being an alumni of Tartan.. I think some of you guys should quit with the .... Image .... It makes yourself look bad... and if you topshelf or anyone else plays with merth.. it only just proves what you think of kyle merth.. regardless of if that really is goalieboy1 or not...

Merth is a good kid and played well before.. he has done ALOT of treatment/surgery on his knee and has to skate with two braces now.. I dont think you should be giving the kid a hard time because he loves the game is trying to play which he does better than any average kids skills.

Hickey is another player I hope recovers from a knee injury... he is spose to be back around Jan? I hope that he can stay injury free..

So keep the Image to a minimal.. and keep the THREAD ON TOPIC...

I am not saying that it is Kyle Merth. I know Kyle and he is a good kid I just want to know who talks good about Tartan and just bashes them. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

I read something that the Johnson scorers counted many shots that were wide of the net.

Really!! 5-0 what in the world happened here...no knock to RW because it looks like the have been winning some games lately, but to beat Tartan 5-0 at Tartan??? that's just a regular old time...

In attendance at Tartan Arena. Place was filled with Red Wing fans. Wingers dominated a slow Tartan team. Wood had his R hand worked on, on the bench btwn the 1st and 2nd periods. He didnt look himself. Red Wing faster and more skilled.

From what I've heard Wood broke his thumb in the 1st period of the game
