easy schedule?

Post by huskyhawky »

Obviously they have a weak schedule that could have probably been a bit tougher, but look at the history of the program. It is not that easy to get quality teams to play you when you just get your program started in the right direction for a few years. You also have to look to the future and you would probably see that in a few years they will fall back down to the bottom for a few years. Why is everyone so involved with this schedule anyway, it is only hurting themselves. To those who doubt the skill of this team, you will most likely not change your minds unless they win the state title so you will have to go watch them play yourselves. Obviously they live and die with the top guns of festler and both hanowski's, but they have some quality role players as well and have a chance to at least make some more noise this year at state (if they get there).

They may not have the easiest schedule in the state. But they do have the easiest schedule of any team that will be going to the state tourney.

Easier than the representative of Section 1A? That's worth researching. Come to think of it, it's likely time to do the first Strength Of Schedule updates on minnhock.com.

Section 4A and 1A have maybe a couple teams that can compete at a high lever, and its not their fault they have a weaker schedule. I know that Coach Couture would prefer a tougher schedule... but it is nice having 20 win seasons every year. But the main question here involves whether the Flyers are truly ready for the State Tourney come March, given their weaker schedule??

If Marshall (they gotta be hurtin' East) and St Cloud Cathedral got bumped to Class AA (where they belong) and disperse the rest of 2A between 4A & 1A, then add a back door and we might get two good teams out of three down to the X

Or, stick St. Cloud Cathedral into 4A and we could get one more private school into the Class A tourny

It's alright Mo. I was just messin' around. And apparently Little Falls only plays the 80th most difficult schedule. Not number 153.

Heh heh...as admin, I could always edit the original post and put one in there. Nah, that's the type of post I'd nuke if I saw someone else do it.
