I doubt any Warrior wins it, they don't have the creampuff schedule that Lehrke or Schiller does either one of those guys SHOULD win it. I think the boys in Black & Gold have more team orientated goals...at least I believe Marvin does.

I just have to say that Marvin is the most overrated player in the state. The kid can barely skate as it is. He doesnt play defense and he just glides around until he gets the puck.

i just have to say quit trying to be a troll, he is obviously one of the best players in the state. Kids that don't know how to skate or play the game don't get drafted...

Don't you mean MiniStick12 as you seem to have some "envy" going. :P

I've seen him play plenty...you know it usually the guys that proclaim Monster that RUN in and out of the shower covering themselves with one hand or a small wash cloth.

Seriously now; have you watched him OR played against him.

I've watched him. He plays as much defense as most other snipers and more than most.

Yea im not gonna lie here....Marvin is a great hockey player..BUT he surely isnt a GREAT skater.....I think anyone that has watched him play can see that or anyone who can see talent....you dont need to be a good skater to go some where....look at Oshie...mad hands with not alot of skates... :D

Are you talking SSM? If so, I didn't realize they were a MN HS hockey team. I agree; it is true...none of the forwards on the "first line" play D....especially the wings. Funny...one of them was a minus nine plus two in the three games in the Range and TRF and still moved up in the geodent rankings. It made sense after all the gladhanding I saw though.

Come on MONSTER we beat this subject to death about a month ago, this is the wrong thread, if you want to start that one back up go find it. He may be a poor skater, cheap, and maybe dosen't handle the puck really well, but he can shoot and play down low with the rest of the best in the state so we can't say he is that bad. I have agreed i don't think he is THAT good but he is a player no question.

A player yes. But anyone can shoot hard if they get the proper training. I dont think he could compete at the U. I also think he is extremly cocky. Just wait till he gets with the real men, he will get knocked around 24/7

Joe Schiller from Detroit Lakes is leading as of the last posting. What do all of our "resident experts" :D think are his chances :?:

His chances for what SC97? Not quite clear on what you are asking.

Oh, I am sure just like our last thread discussion it will come down to those three. Schiller's chances are quite good considering how well his linemates ecspecially Berquist have been playing. I have a feeling one of the three will catch fire here in the second half and take off.

By one of the three you mean Marvin, Schiller, and Lehrke I assume.

Maybe a John Clark or Dan Usiski from LOW
Seth Schmitz-RLF
Zack Knapp from Park Rapids
John Grabanski or Joey Wikoff-EGF
Ben Berquist -DL
Isaiah Pemberton- Bagley-Fosston
Bryce Ravendalen-Warroad

Just looking at the top 10-12 at this point. Granted there is a pretty big gap between the top 4-5 and the next 4-5.
