hard to beat a team three times in one yearFrequent_MN_Flyer wrote:barelydulutheastfan wrote:Frequent_MN_Flyer wrote:I say CEC wins this one 4-2 en.
Very interesting if that happens, how will that look against east being SWEPT by Cloquet.
It has already happened in past years 04-05 cloquet took both of the regular meetings but east beat them in the playoffs

I've always wondered about that statement. What I mean is (and this is something for someone to research if they have a heckuva lot of free time on their hands ), when one team wins their two regular season games, what percentage of the time do they win the playoff game?forecheck wrote:hard to beat a team three times in one yearFrequent_MN_Flyer wrote:barelydulutheastfan wrote:

A win is a win if its 3-2 or 10-0 when East and Cloquet play each other its a very close game both ways

I get tired of this, "oh, well, it's hard to beat a team 3 times in the same year." People were saying that about the final last year between CEC-GR.
But did they forget that the year before CEC swept GR and spanked GR in the semis up in Hibbing. Yeah it might be hard, but if you're the better team you should win.
