For all of you who say that Little Falls coach is not concerned with the record then why does Hanowski go out on the pwer play when LF is up by 8 goals in the third? Play him all you want 5 on 5 but putting him out for every powerplay is poor sportsmanship and running up the score.

I think it's not will he break the record but when will he break the record. He is 19 points away, with 5 games remaining in the regular season. In his last three games he's had 20 points. Looking ahead Little falls plays St. Cloud Tech, Prairie Center, River Lakes, Willmar and St. Cloud Apollo. Th...

Bemidji beat Apollo 4-3. Winning goal was a kick-in from the right side post. :x

This tournament was obviously a fluke and the results would never happen again if it were replayed. Get off your high horse tech. A fluke? Tech kicked the schnott out of Cathedral. No fluke. Tech then kicked Apollo. Tech was the better team in the tournament. On any given night that could change, b...

Apollo should have just had a nice two goal lead and they wouldn't have had to worry about being victim of a bad call. Apollo did have a nice 2 goal lead. The tying goal was scored after the ref blew the whistle for a penalty. The official by the net immediately waived it off and called it n...

I was there and I would say it was off for roughly 3 seconds before the shot was taken (people were screaming "nets off" before the shot was taken). In this picture the puck hadn't yet made it to the back of the net.

That kid gots game.
Grant is a very good player. Speed, skill and determination are developing nicely. He needs to grow a little to be a top prospect. (IMO)
I like watching him play.

I don't quite know where this is going to go. Tech played a great game. Cathedral was pathetic. Cathedral can play better and Tech usually plays worse. Apollo looked awful, took over 30 minutes in penalties, but still managed to win. Bottom line, Apollo played shorthanded for 30 minutes and still w...

The letter rule is usually spelled out in your team rules. For example for a school I am familiar with it is: Be on the varsity roster for at least 50 % of the games or any player on the varsity roster for the section or state tournament games.

Re: ff v Apollo

Apollo goalie very solid in this one, and he was the one who kept the mighty Eagles in the game. 40-21 in shots on goal. The refs were not in the game tonight.....on Apollo's first goal the rush was off sides. It also seamed like the Apollo net happened to "incidently" fall off the spikes...

Fergus Falls 5 St Cloud Apollo 4 Stripes scored 2 for Fergus tonight in possibly the worst example of officiating ever. The first was a goal which was waived off. Penalty called, whistle blows Fergus shoots and scores. The official next to the net correctly waives off the goal. Officials have a 2 mi...

I actually watched this game and it wasn't pretty. Apollo is not a good TEAM as some of the other posts suggest. Their goaltending was suspect at best. Lots of HUGE juicy rebounds by both goalies if players on both teams would have crashed the posts they would have bagged a bunch of easy goals. Apo...

Hockemeyer with a hat trick. Tom Brown with the game winner. Butkowski NO PENALTIES! Denardo could not keep his team composed in the third. Lost 2 players to game DQ's for stupid stuff. The second was a check from behind which gave Apollo a 5 minute pp and a chance to win which they quickly took adv...
