SSM Prep are National Champs with a 3-1 (EN) win over Mid Fairfield (Conn).

SSM U16 fell 3-2 to Detroit Honeybaked. Hams were also champs as Bantams in 2010.

Fantastic hockey tournament and fine seasons by both SSM teams.

Chuinard is a newbie to the District 8 scene. He's a transplant from Santa Rosa, CA, but spent his formative years in Ramsey skating for Anoka and the Fire before his dad was transferred to California. He has great hands and has finally sprouted up. No, he's not my kid or relative Good plug from a ...

I'm just curious to know how many '95 birthyear players are on Eagan's Bantam A? I'm guessing none. The extra year+ of physical development at this age makes a big difference. Chaos777's points are good. I'm not a Fire parent, but I have a ton of respect for the skill on the Fire teams.

Univ of Wisconsin recruits 14 Yr old from Chicago Mission

Came across this in a Wisconsin paper. I thought it was a joke at first. 14-year-old Jordan Schmaltz, a defenseman from Verona WI who plays for the Chicago Mission AAA program has committed to the Badgers. He is believed to be the youngest recruit in WCHA history. Wow  Link: http://www.madiso...

FHIT (fka Impact Hockey) has a very good program. The STA location may be full, but the Fogerty location may be available.

If you have to ask...it's out of your league!!!!

(Or out of your brother's league, shall I say.)

If you are good enough, "the HOT team" will come to you. Hope this helps.

mnhockeyrules - Like O-Town said, why would you choose a name that is already used by a real Tier 1 AAA program? It only creates confusion for families. By the way, The Fire Hockey Club (Somerset, WI) doesn't play together year 'round. Out of curiosity, who has this program been "very competiti...

Just another summer team with some camps looking to make $. They do try to pull a few kids in from other parts of the country and did have teams competing in a few tournaments or so last summer. From the games I observed, the "Nats" weren't very impressive. If I'm not mistaken, I believe t...

He moves well enough, and has drawn interest from scouts to play at the college level. Let's face it, a 6'8" goalie doesn't need to rely on movement the way a 5'8" goalie does.

sorno82, Thanks for the thought-provoking topic. However, I'm not sure that Tier 1 AAA needs to be thrown into this discussion. Summer "AAA" hockey and Tier 1 aren't the same thing. Minnesota has had a proliferation of summer "AAA" teams (and yes, this may contribute to the poten...

You can breath easy AF1, The '95 Fire aren't coming to Roseau. Playing down? You may want to take a look at who the Fire have actually played in their 30+ games to date; it doesn't resemble the EGF schedule. Since you seem to be so financially astute, why don't you tell us just how much cash it tak...

Fargo Angels

:?: Just curious, does anyone know what has happened to the Fargo Angels Hockey program? Have they folded? They fielded a pretty strong PWA team which came to MN for a tournament or so last year. I only see the Fargo Flyers and Raiders mentioned this year.
