Any person with common knowledge knows(I bolded the word Know to give rockets4 spelling help because it is obvious he has not been properly educated) that there are 30 teams in the state that can beat the rochester teams, and that’s including class A. true but not all from one town :D :D :D :D For ...

Cause removing all of the private schools would be totally fair. yes it would be fair because if u can prove that none of those kids are there for hockey only then itis fair. 90% of the kids on those teams r scouted! loudes cant souct cus roches rules r to strick, however theyr gulity also cuz kids...

Well when you say that they cant compete having three 'A' teams thats stupid because they are going to have to compete like that in high school. Plus whats the best way to get better? Play. Play good competition. Rochester would benefit in the long run from having three 'A' teams at each level beca...

I agree that the section is weaker than EPs section but what would you expect the state to do? Those sections are just so deep and have such competetive schedules that you are blinded by the fact that section 1aa has legit teams. Two years ago Century took third in state, beating hill murray in the...

I know i kind of contradicted myself. And for a shot at redemption. If Giles doesn’t produce I think Edina should start looking for a new head coach. Aaaannnndddd I am an idiot.

Re: If Edina does not win it

Will it go down as big a disappointment as '05 Moorhead? Or maybe worse considering their last three quality seasons? I think Giles might expect some heat from the community nonetheless if they don't pull through. I dont think a lot of people will be disappointed if edina doesn’t win it. I know i w...

The section finals games at Marriucci are crazy! 9-10,000 people watching the games. Personally, I'd rather have a smaller arena thats packed. Yeah, last years section games were a great atmosphere. Benilde vs. Tonka and then Edina vs. Burnsville. Both games go into OT in front of 10,000. Both of t...

My vote goes to Brian Urick and his staff at Minnetonka. Really??? He took over a team that was already very talented. Ken Pauly built that program to what it is today. I would give him a few more years to see what he can do and then we can start calling him one of the best coaches in the state. St...

if i checked the stats right and my research is good, that Texas team won the state title and have kids all around texas playing on that team. And in an article it has Bevers not playing? So if he is their leading scorer i could see why they lost. Good State championship team and the leading player...

Great motivator, phenominal coach and great person. He is always willing to give interviews to people like MY Fox Hockey and is always classy in doing so. He is a great promoter for High School Hockey as a whole.

A private school coach should not be allowed to win, until all private schools are in their own section. Come on guys...private schools might not officially recruit, but they get the top players from other programs. The coach of the year should be a coach that had to over come adversity somehow. I ...

stmartin123 I think it's funny because your right, we're not talking about Edina. We're talking about a program like Spring Lake Park, that is small and has a handful of good young players that will be ready to step up the rest of this year and next year. And mnhockeyfan77 they are talking about Sc...

blanco oso, Whats your basis for that opinion? Spring Lake Park is good this year, and next year they return there 4 top defense, and 7 out of their 9 forwards, and most importantly their goalie Mike Nelson. The team will be tough the rest of this year and next year as well. Yeah, if a team like ed...
