LOL, I had to come out of retirement for this thread! Where does Sylvester's dad work?? Who had that job before he did? Also, I believe Izzy said it best in the GF Herald on (I think) the day of the game: While Warroad coach David Marvin admits to being frustrated by those two losses, "last ye...

I just want to say that Warroad has nothing to be proud of. They bring in all of these girls from around the state, and from Canada. Of course they should win State. Roseau should be proud to have given them a run for their money. Warroad, if you need to cheat to win, why don't you go AA? Let these ...

Unfortunately I had a real bad vision, actually you could call it a nightmare. The Eastsiders are so hungry they can taste it and will out work the Pirates at home winning 4-3 in OT. It will be a nice win for their program however they will lose in the first round of section playoffs. TP from EGF wa...

Now that someone has broached this topic doesn’t this seem a little odd? I know this phenomenon happens every year. Eye of the beholder and all that. However, even if you don’t look at the individuals and just did the math. It doesn’t seem right. The breakdown of all participants is roughly made up...

One of the greatest things about this league is the length of the games and the quality of competition. Without a doubt it is the premier venue if you want to be challenged. No more easy games for any of the teams. Anyone who has followed the Starzz and Blades (formerly Ice Cats) knows how competiti...

Hockey is a team sport, it doesn't matter how much talent an individual has if they can't play as a team player and win games. From my standpoint, Hannah Brandt-D2 was the most complete player I saw. Also, the goalie from D8, Allison McKeever, was very good.[/quote]

Great first post! Is this Greg? You obviously missed alot of other complete players like Kuehl, Ness, McMillan.

I would guess Red Wing.
I checked the Red Wing roster and I don't see anyone with this name. Is she from Fergus Falls?

I bet Alexandria is happy to have a Little Falls transfer on their team. Anez scores the winning goal for the Cards.

I think this is will be a great event and a perfect way to promote the Section 8 talent for girls and boys. They will all be in 1 rink for the scouts and everyone to see how they stack up against the best in the North. Hopefully the coaches have done a good job getting their top players nominated. I...

Oh I know she deserves to be on the team. I have watched her play quite a bit this year and she fits in. I am happy she showed some loyalty and stuck around to play for her HS. You don't see that very often if the grass appears to be greener at the Hill.
