Any team that goes to 6 class A Championship games in a row, should definitely move up in my opinion. I also think that this record may never be broken.

I would never expect a total collapse like that out of a St. Thomas team. Obviously they are not in that type of situation often. Hats off to Duluth East - never quit

Sparlimb, I'm not sure what in my statement you are disagreeeing. with. All or part of it? Are you worried that Peasly could turn things around and Hill might not get the blue chip player from North anymore? It was tongue-in-cheek. I grew up a NSP fan, so I'd be happy to see them get a stronger pro...

Re: NSP

Former Polar Defenseman Nate Peasley has been hired at North St. Paul. Anybody know much about Nate Peasley? I see that he played at Bethel up until 2007. Does he have more coaching experience than his one year as an assistant at North? Prior to being Varsity Assistant, he was North's JV coach. He ...

[quote="B-Ville Hockey Guy"]couple of notables: Only 237 Minnesotans have played in the NHL- Seems like a small number Ken Yackel- 6 games- ( isn't there an arena named after him?) Chris Marinucci- Hobey Baker winner- 13 games 5 points- seems like he maybe should have gotten a better look?...

Maybe Brandon is transferring?

Quick look, and he didn't play in the last four games. Injured? Idk

To me it was a predictable Tourney, as I had stated, without the privates, it would be just like the good ole days, of hating Edina. There were a few very good games in the quarter/semi final games, but both Champioship games were dogs. Well there's always next year. Nice job as always Karl.

On one hand, I do feel I got robbed of seeing Hill beat White Bear one last time at the Coliseum, with a trip to State on the line. On the other, Stillwater deserved the win, and have a shot at the Pioneers. There was a lot of talk that this was White Bears year, to knock off Hill, and win a State C...

I haven't seen that bad of a choke since Gary Anderson's missed field goal in the 1998 NFC Championship... How about having a 5 -1 lead over Johnson with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, only to give up 4 goals ( 3 in the final 3 minutes of the period) and then lose it in overtime. I was there, and never...

So how do they determine seeds? Well, the section coaches will go in on the 17th, and hash it out, plead their case or whatever, and come up with the seedings. Four Suburban East coaches, three Classic Suburban coaches, and Irondale. In the past, they have always met on Sunday, I think the meeting ...
