When they handed out the medals at the end of the game yesterday (EP vs Wayzata)..I just remeber the parents cheering and clapping for a couple of our EP players as well as there own.....Just showed a lot of class to me.. EP's goalie was so phenominal that it would be a travesty NOT to cheer for him!

I have to agree with Itsmorefun on this one. When we're at an out-of-town tournament that is costing our family A LOT of money, the kids better go to bed at a decent time, use their downtime wisely, and skate their butts off. They want to play this sport, it's very expensive, and their part of the ...

Wow. Can't say that i paid attention to everything in this thread, but HOFam'r had some really good points about development being forced down your throat, but the fees generated are use to pay interested parties. Then to have an anonymous threatening note - man, someone in Buffalo is pretty sick. I...

Re: Thoughts on Centennial Preview
[quote="GoGophersGuy"]Best Games: WBL 4 Wayzata 3 WBL was a strong underdog here as they held on for a 4-3 win here. The last 2 min of this game were very intense and I dont know how Wayzata didnt tie this one up. Fun game to watch and WBL won the game on a dump in shot from the blue line....

gopherwanabe - Since LP doesn't currently have a Squirt kid and won't be a coach on the team, why blame him for your kid not making it? Wouldn't the head and assistant coaches be involved in the decision? Do you really think they would take LP's opinions and place them above their own? Based on all ...

LP is a great coach because he researches what works for this age group and applies it accordingly. He teaches the kids more about teamwork than any coach we have ever had in any sport, including short shifts to preserve energy, proper nutrition, sleep requirements, etc. Although not part of his &qu...
