You have the RIGHT for your kid to play hockey or not. If you CHOOSE to play hockey, in this case in D6, then you obligated to play under the rules set by that particular organization, if you don't like those particular set of rules you have the RIGHT to leave and go play for another league, in thi...

I see from the agenda on MN Hockey's website; that the Board will be considering a multi league player participation rule. So apparrently, Hewitt is no longer thrown under the bus. With the approval of this new rule, I would assume, that MN Hockey is taking the same stance that Mr. Brad did. I had ...

Re: Broken Link above, but ...

This was the worst tournament we played in. The tournament director allowed multiple kids to play with multiple teams. That's pretty sad when you allow that. Stats were screwed up and when the tournament director was advised, he did nothing to correct the problem. Our team will not be going back. V...

Hey, I like MM but here's some observations. ... We've heard of as many as 16 important dads and moms leaving single associations. They want the parents more than the kids. Kids are replaceable. Strong community volunteers are not. Volunteer organizations need association leaders, coaches, managers...

Re: Wisconsin Fire

What's the latest scoop on the status of all the Fire teams. 98s are dead for "administrative issues with Wisconsin Hockey" as stated in their apology letter (yeah right) - but I what's the deal with the Fire as a whole for now? I heard that ALL teams may be dead because of problems with ...

You must be really bored. I followed the link you included. You have to click on each player's name to see where they are from. Besides, it's not like the Blades don't do the same thing, they just don't have the stones to post the name(s) of their out-of-state or out-of-country player(s) on their we...

I certainly hope MM "does the right thing" and immediately relieves this coach of his duties, as they did w/ the 98 Deuce coach. Everyone seemed to think that there should be no second chances for that guy, but then again...

So parents expect you to be a role model, shake hands with the opposing team and not punish your players by humiliating them, that's your job as the coach. Zero tolerance for failing to be a decent human being and a role model. Ask Bobby Knight what Indiana did to him when he behaved like a jerk. I...

I hear the 98 Blades play the Icemen again on Sat. My guess is the Blades will show they are team to beat in MINNESOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Interesting. Blades lost twice to the Machine and once to the Icemen so far. If these teams play on Sat. and the Blades win, how would that then make them the team t...

Seems to me what they are trying to do is bully a bunch of kids and their families, not fill tournaments with good teams. What "good" teams were left out? I believe every team playing was "invited" hence an invite event! The Icemen were offered a spot in the Alliance. Tony Brum ...

How did the game go with the 98 Blades & the Icemen?? :? I think it was Monday night. 4 to 0 icemen over blades Congrats to the 98 Icemen. Nice to see some good new legitimate local competition for the perennial powers-that-be. Icemen victory would also seem to contradict the Alliance claims th...

Are you all missing the obvious issue/concern here when it comes to the orange and the ties? Hello! Bernie's health! You know the Machine will win it hands down. What -- how can you not acknowledge the attention to fine quality and detail -- especially when combined with the functionality of the color scheme? For instance, when Machine kids are not on the ice (as if), the attractive Machine ensemble can be worn fo...

Seems to me what they are trying to do is bully a bunch of kids and their families, not fill tournaments with good teams. How will Fire not win this? Association teams are rolling lines. Some have probably just switched up their lines, as many do on a monthly basis or after each tournament. I'd love to see any team from any pool other than the Silver pool win it.

When will reality set in for you all? The simple fact of the matter is that you cannot level the playing field for the entire world, not in sports, not in school and not in the job market. You also can't carry on your sticks, they are considered weapons. Can't even put them in the coat rack area of the plane. What you would be able to do with something that long in such a small space is beyond me, but that's the case. Long, pointed knitting needles though, not weapons. Interesting.

If your kids don't play on one of those teams, I would shut up, because the program you play in is no better then the Easton program.
