Elkpower, your team may very well win this section. Time will tell. Everything else is speculation. From my vantage point you argue PHM plays nobody when in fact they have played 4 teams better than the best one you have played. NOBODY would argue that. Scimmages mean nothing. The facts are that in ...

Elkpower, I think you should take some time tonight and look at the schedules of Elk River and PHM. Then look at the latest LPH rankings. You lose all credability when you comment that PHM does not play anybody. They do have some soft teams on their schedule. Superior and Silver Bay are in their con...

Elkpower, you may end up being right on. Elk River may win this section. Time will tell. However, your strength of schedule arguement seems a bit misguided. PHM and Elk River played 3 common teams, Duluth, Cloquet, and Grand Rapids. PHM was 3-2. Elk River was 1-1-1. Looking at the remaining schedule...

Joe, this girl is a 91 which makes it even a more diffiicult acheivement to make it to the National camp as most girls there were a grade ahead. She was not involved in the Advanced program last year due to her age. I just think its wrong that someone comes in and decides 60 skaters are D1 material ...

Juniorfest
If I were a parent this year I would be very upset. Why have they categorized and labeled these girls? Who did this? Everybody should have the same opportunity. The top girls will establish themselves. I know a very prominent defenseman that was as good as any junior D in the state last year in my o...

Joe, you seem to be knowledgeable enough to understand that seeing teams one time is not a great gauge of how good they are in most instances. Since you beat PHM and Duluth beat you I understand your point of view. I know most of the coaches for the better section 7 teams. I can assure you that they...

Joe, I agreed that those two teams schedules did not meet that of GR. My point was a schedule with Warroad, Hopkins, Minnetonka, GR, Duluth, Cloquet twice, Irondale, and Silver Bay all clearly being high end teams, and several others that are decent in the mix, his comment was misguided somewhat. Bu...

Conehead and some of you others need to get a life. Again a case of posting opinions without knowing the facts. 1. PHM had only 38 shots. They passed up many shots. Superiors goalie quit this week so the girl who played never had been in the nets before. She did not stop anything. 2. This was a conf...

Hey, nmhockeydad. I assume your latest post is a shot at Ms Downey and/or PHM. I would expect some of this but not from people with any common sense. As a general rule I find nothing worse than people expressing opinions about things they have absolutely no knowledge of. I would ask that, unless you...

The Irondale - PHM game was quite lobsided. McDonald and the goalie did not play for Irondale. PHM's starting goalie is hurt and did not pay either. Shots were 34-10. PHM used their 4th line and 5 and 6 D in the 3rd period after building a 7-0 lead after 2. At least 6 of the 10 shots came in the 3rd...
