I realize females can and do perform at a high level of all sports dominated by males. The issue seems to be at the youth level of hockey whether it is fair to the boys for girls to be playing along side of them? And the answer is NO. The reason is most boys who play youth hockey have zero interest...

I would guess the rules have lightened up a bit over the years, as long as you still bleed orange while subbing you're okay.

Over the years I have seen a number of "Bernies kids" play on other teams throughout the summer in various tournaments......of course, that is with the exception of any Blades teams.

Sure, U14 is an option for some...however, not many associations run strong U14 teams as most of the best 14 year olds are usually playing girls HS hockey by that time anyways.
