The Pioneer Press sports section has fallen off the face of the planet the last couple of years - does not surprise me.

Whatever Randy is up to I wish him the best. Randy has always in my experience been an awesome teacher of the game who really seems to be able to get through to the youth players. He is one of the pioneers of small game cross ice training with his summer programs. (Centennial Hockey can thank Randy ...

Believe me when I say---no one on HM's team has EARNED anything. Ask the 4th liner who was a top returning scorer--what did he earn? I'll tell you -NOTHING-Your arguement is flawed signifcantly. lines 1-4 mean nothing and have earned nothing in a game won 17-2. Again are you kidding me? What have y...

It was 15-2 going into the 3rd and ALL lines were played evenly. Would you like to fabricate any other false information that besmirches HM? WOW OK better yet maybe it was 15 - 2 (whatever) Hill has considerable depth and maybe the most talented 4th line in the state. (wasted talent) Youre r...

Hill beats Sibley 17 - 2 last week ... 3rd period at about 13 -1 LEX finaly puts in his 4th line. 5 seconds on the ice and they draw a penalty. Out comes the 1st line power play unit... 4th line back to the bench so Lex can pad his ego. WOW It was 15-2 going into the 3rd and ALL lines were played e...

Apparently Edina was looking past this game - working only as hard as they think they need to. Sounds like AHA played with great heart. Anyone know the story on the Labate kid (AHA)? I thought his father was the Eagan youth association president?. Eagan has a great team this year. I don't think they...

If Edina lapses on defense as they did against Hill in the holiday tourney
this could actually get interesting.
If they show up with their A game on - AHA wont have a chance.

**Any word on this one yet?

Great game - BOTH teams looked VERY impressive. Hill has amazing depth - even a powerhouse like EP does not have that kind of depth on their 3rd and 4th lines. I love that Brewski kid - he is carring a couple of underclassman on his back and making a bigger impact than the 1st two lines. I am guessi...

I have to go with the underdog on this - EP. Should be a great game - when you play against a AAA format team like HILL it is hard not to pull for the community based underdog. To bad Minnesota Hockey and the High School league don't let the other AAA club play in the league. (SSM) EP needs to come ...

Stillwater has 4 solid D with size. These guys are the offense and the Defense. Ponies have very little up front other than Dochniak. Bears will need to put a body on Doc. and pressure the points. If the bears ring the boards agianst these guys it will result in a goal. (Roseville found this out the...

Lechner is an average coach that gets delt a loaded hand every year. If the High Scholl coaches in his region want to beat him they need to start spending a little more time in their community based youth programs. This is where they will have their best opportunity to build the brand and prevent ki...
