Not sure how great the turnout will be for the Great 8. It will be hitting over spring break for quite a few districts, so some will not be able to attend. Senior Trips - some will be just leaving for the trip and some will be just getting back. Here are a few school districts that will run into con...

Again, I think South is not getting the respect it deserves. And East is not unbeatable. But looking at their respective seasons, I think it's pretty hard not to conclude that East has a significantly more impressive resume. Particularly since they dealt with some injuries (Olson, Repensky) and Sou...

Freemark/Heller - Lakeville South Freemark is a top 5 defenseman in the state IMO. He plays good d zone coverage, always makes good decisions with the puck and gets involved in the offense in appropriate times. Not to mention, I've never seen him get beat on a 1 on 1. Freemark/Heller - Lakeville So...

A few things about the game: - the shots were not 42-13 - that is a misprint. I believe it was actually something like 28-13 for the entire game. South dominated the first period, but they certainly didn't have 28 shots in that period alone. However, except for a stretch in the second period South ...

Just one mans opinion but I thought Joe Freemark was the best player on the ice last night. Controlled the game with his ability to get South out of their own end. He doesn't get much publicity but he is every bit as important to his team as Kloos. Too bad he isn't a little bigger because he plays ...

If anybody is interested I logged the Kloos ice time tonight in the game against Lakeville North. He played 7:20 in the 1st, 7:50 in the second, and 8:40 in the 3rd. So, roughly 24 minutes. ty. its too bad you didn't keep more records. I'd bet #24 for North saw more ice tonight. I would agree that ...

Sats- Do you mean the 10-11 North team that just got destroyed by Burnsville on Saturday 8-1? Your right, huge upgrade in coaching staff.. they really turned that program around! Impossible to turn around a program in 2.5 months that has been below average for over a decade (don't throw in that the...

Except for the part when south scored to make it 4-3 with about six minutes to go. Really a pretty even game, one to many bad turnovers by south and the Hill goalie out played souths. Shots ended just about even for the game. Kloos looks absolutely exhausted, the kid was sucking wind half way throu...
