I caught the end of both girls' championship games and noticed that as the kids on the bench jumped onto the ice they kept their helmets on during the usual dogpile celebration. Is there a new rule this year about keeping headgear on?

I noticed at the end of the Breck-Warroad game the Breck bench all kept their helmets on when they jumped onto the ice. Is there a new rule about keeping helmets on while on the ice?

8AA usually has the final in Thief River. The only time it has been in Bemidji was about five years ago when Moorhead met Brainerd. Could be a repeat this year.
