I believe they also have Bemidji and Mankato on their schedule so if you are living outside the metro there are a couple other options to watch the team play. They also play UND but that is at Blaine, I think.

Do not like rules being changed after the fact as that really makes people question the integrity and mission of an organization and of course the politics at work. It is their league but as with any sports organization there are clear benefits to having a clear mission statement, philosophy and pro...

The Northern girls definitely have a disadvantage with both of these new fall leagues due to travel times, hotel expenses, etc. I would think these factors would discourage participation for anyone having to travel long distances. Agreed and have talked to a few that are not going to do this for th...

Agree it is summer hockey and stats don't really matter much but was simply adding another example of where the stats were flawed past other posters' comments. I guess I don't quite get why you would not want to give the goals and assists to the correct numbers though as a ref as well as goalie chan...

Stats are wrong, too, as refs did a couple number reversals for goal scorers and assists in at least three games daughter played in at the 19u level. The girls did not seem too concerned about it though. In talking to a parent who had a daughter playing in the 16u level the refs even gave credit to ...
