Private
I have no problem with private schools if the reason kids go are for academic reasons. AHA went from doormat to powerhouse immediately. That is pretty suspicious that all of a sudden all these hockey studs decided to go to a private school. I'm not accusing anyone directly but to believe recruiting ...

Re: A vs. AA
Trebil may be a good coach, but with talent like that a grade school child could win 20 games behind the bench.

I agree Knowlze. it seems some fans that have reaped the benefits of open enrollment (recruiting) are the ones that cry foul. this topic will not go away until the HS League takes a tough stand on this problem.

Re: Mounds View is likely looking for a new coach
From a very reliable source. Coach Nitti and the AD are very good friends. There is more to this story then meets the eye. Sadly, some parents have nothing better to do. However, Nitti also needs to take some ownership. It's my understanding that this stems from a "Bunch" of money that the...

Re: A Simple Fix
Windsor, No need to buil a wall. However, anyone with a brain realizes a few schools AA included have a larger than average number of transfers. Jefferson, Centennial, WBL and others don't. It can be done without it. The 3 schools mentioned however have a tremendously large amount of open enrollment...

I totally understand the situation. Warroad had no titles and limited success before open enrollment and Class A. That is a simple fact.

A simple fix
A simple fix for Warroad and a few other programs is to not give the skeptics something to talk about. Play with your own kids.

North compared to what? How far is Moorhead from the Canadian border compared to the Iowa border? I think they are pretty centrally located.

Re: For arguments sake?
I have written the State High School League more than once. I don't care what school does it because it's wrong!!! Not complaining just stating the obvious and nobody on here has been able to defend schools using open enrollment for sport success. Anybody with any common sense can see it's WRONG!!! ...

Complaining and Jealousy? I believe it's the Warroad fans who want the recognition. They have a solid program and choose to play Class A. Their choice! Puckranger,

How many top notch AA teams did Warroad play? Answer is 1 for sure which was a tie and two more possibly against Osseo which is was a win and tie.
