He was a steady presence behind the bench and never really got the credit for the D he developed. Wonder how long will Lechner play the string out. Good luck to Shaf.

Shaf has been with Lex for a long time and coaches the D. He doesn’t get enough credit for the program’s success. One of the things that have made Hill so strong for so long, has been their depth. I would argue that their “weakest link” is usually stronger that any other section team’s “weakest link...

Not a fan of STA, but back when they were dominant in Class A, I heard a classic chant. As soon as the puck was dropped on the opening face-off, their fans started to chant, “This one’s Over”. I had to laugh.
