No common opp. between these two. I don't put much weight in 3rd party games. Much tougher schedule for DM DM has two goalies (one with better stats than the WM and one just below). DM has two of the top 3 rated blue liners in class A. Two others are top quality. DM will skate 3 extremely fast lines...

LF needs to put shots and pressure on the STA goalie to win this game. I have not seen LF this year and know that STA was put into running time by Duluth Marshall, so they can be beat. But, I'm guessing STA will win by a goal.

Warroad gets the luck of the draw and puts the opponent in running time. Their next game won't be so easy.

If i were to pick 4-8

5. Little Falls
6. Blake
7. Mankato West
8. 3A
This looks pretty accurate. 6 and 7 could be switched.

It makes me feel sick that a team had to lose. Hibbing really battled and I was surprised to see how they improved from earlier in the year. They have a lot to be proud of.

I can tell you it won't be in 08. I hope this poll motivates Marshall.

Everyone knows the public - private thing. Why not start it out with: 14- 12 Jackets and 22-5 Toppers That will happen when you recruite If you are going to make that statement; could you spell the word right. Must be the education. Actually, I agree that Marshall recruits. They recruit students. I...

I keep seeing people say Hibbing has no depth. In the Falls game Hibbing rolled 3 lines and you cant tell me that lines 2 & 3 did not have chances to score. And when the other lines where out there they also were tough defensively and shut down Youso's line and to be honest I really dont think ...

The Jackets have all of the momentum right now. Toppers have had an easy run in the playoffs, they will not be ready for a fired up Hibbing team. Hibbing 5 Jackets 3 Hibbing will score 8? All the negative talk about Virginia. If they looked bad, its because DM made it that way. Virginia has...

After reading some of the late game antics of the Ely-IFalls, Greenway-Virg. games and witnessing a ten minute major in final couple minutes (sissy punches) and a bush league run for another penalty in the final 40 seconds in the DM-EG game. Thankfully, the refs did not drop the puck in the finals 3...

Despite deserving it, I don't believe St Thomas will be the #1 seed. They have lost to HM twice, Tonka, upset by Breck early, and a bad game by the goalie against Marshall. Marshall got beat bad by a team St Thomas beat bad (BSM), lost to Tonka as well, two WI schools and Warroad. Everyone says one...

MNHock was wrong last year (Moorhead and STA) final ps2 and They have Edina and STA this year Lets Play Hockey are more accurate in my opinion. Undefeated and defending state champs in Roseau as #1 and Duluth Marshall as single A #1 (which has same record as STA, but beat them in "head to head&...

Where was Jake Johnson? He was out with a shoulder injury I believe. I'm sure they'll sit him again in Saturday's regular season finale against Greenway to make sure he's 100% for playoffs. What kind of injury does Kosak have? One of the radio announcers in the pregame, said it was indeed a shoulde...

Why is everyone so quick to put DM as the 1 seed. They've only played 5 7A teams. I do believe they've played the tougher schedule, but then why isn't Two Harbors the 4 seed. They have a 5-4 section record. Better than Hibbing and Greenway. Will the meltdown in Warroad hurt DM at all, allowing 2 go...

You forgot to quote me when I said "one game doesn't make a season." Yes, they have those wins, but they also have losses to Owatonna and Lourdes. Aside from the listed games, a weak schedule. On paper West is better than Albert Lea, despite the head to head loss, just as St Thomas is bet...

As far as the second goal. PuckRanger, I know you see a lot of hockey and I agree with most of what you say. But, I can tell you that the red light did come on with the ref directly behind the net pointing to the net for a goal. I do not know exactly how this coincided with the whistle, or even if t...

So is this where I get to say that Marshall must be slipping like everyone does to the Falls when they only win by one goal against what is considered to be a lesser team? Most people are starting to realize that this is one of the top sections in the state. And when you are at #1 the whole ...
