Bruce Olson Article

This is an article in Wednesday's Grand Forks Herald about Warroad boys co-head coach Bruce Olson. It talks about Ole growing up in Roseau and playing for the Rams and later serving as head coach at Roseau for 10 years and now coaching at Warroad. Very good article written by GF Herald Sports Editor...

Roseau claiming Byfuglien is a little disingenuous...He wasn't born there, and never played for the Rams because of academic ineligibility, and left for juniors before he graduated. He sounds like a gutsy kid in this recent Strib story: http://www.startribune.com/1330/story/948533.html But he's cer...

Annual Event

LOW Head Coach Mark Fabian was on KJ102 radio this morning and said they would like to do it again but like you said the cost of doing an event like that again would be hard to get done. Hats of to the people of Baudette for doing a great job with it.

Kevin Erickson

I hate these things. If you have to ask, he isn't that good. And if it's you, spend this time working on your game, not your ego. boblee, I know Kevin very well and and can guarantee you this isn't him. Kevin had an excellent tournament and deserved the MVP honors for the tournament. He had around ...

I believe this game will definately be much closer than last years game. I was at it and felt somewhat cheated for how lopsided it was. I know Red River has a much better team than that and they should definately have redemtion on their minds. Either way, i still believe Roseau will have too much t...

Vatnsdahl definately showed his old team he could play. and that he wouldnt be taking any crap from them as he was jabbering after every play. Aaron Marvin is incredble. big, strong, and can really change a game (even with penalties). the refs blew, there were AT LEAST 7 early whistles that were ma...

Mr. Bo Dangles,
Like I mentioned earlier, Jake was cut prior to the first Roseau game of the season. That week he transfered to Warroad and sat out half the season. This was only his second varsity game of the year.

You haven't even seen a game all season so making it sound like you have is hurting your own credibility. Everyone knows this and thinks ...

SB24,
You are correct. The game was played in East Grand Forks and Warroad iced the puck all night long. That was Lund-Gotziaman-Hites and the crews junior year.

Jake Transfered after he was cut the week prior to the first game of the season in late November. I believe he started in Warroad on November 24th. The Warroad goaltender that iwatchalotofhockey is refering to is Corwin Saurdiff who left his senior year to go play juniors at Waterloo when the Swedis...

One more thing!

I agree with you on a few of those points. To me the officials did a good job for the first two periods, it just seemed in the third period after that call when the roseau player slipped in the middle of the iced by himself (clearly) they called a penalty which changed the whole pace of the game an...

Roseau - Rosemount game

Goal30, I'm not going to get into a big war over this but do want to point out a few descepancies in your posting. 1. You are correct about the Ram player hitting the Rosemount player after the whistle after the Irish played slashed the Ram goaltender but I'm guessing if he does the same thing in yo...

Battle of the Roses!

Hockeyfan1, That is a very good assesment although you gave them a little more credit than I would have. I thought they only played about 9 minutes of the first period and once they got the 2-0 lead they quit skating and moving the puck. Once Rosemount went ahead they kicked it back in gear again bu...
